Brinor’s Action for Charity 3 Peak’s Challenge Team 2013On the 8th June 2013 a team of 6 Brinor employees will attempt to complete the assent and descent of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. We are looking for sponsorship and we like to reach a total target figure of GBP 2000 that we have committed to, although we do hope to raise more. All funds raised by the challenge will support the work of Action Medical Research and will make a huge difference to the research the charity is able to fund. The organisation offers hope to the many thousands of families across the UK who are dealing with the trauma of a baby born too early, striving to support a child affected by disability, or facing the challenge of caring for a child with a rare and devastating disease for which there is no cure. Please consider supporting our cause, any contribution would be gratefully received. In order to show some appreciation to those that sponsor our team we will be carrying a banner which will bear the logos of the companies that have sponsored us. The banner will be unravelled (weather permitting) at the summit of each of the three peaks and a photo taken which will appear on our website.
Please feel free to download the form.
CharityThank you everyone for booking with Brinor. As previously advertised, we committed ourselves to donating 50p per booking throughout the month of December. We managed to raise a total of GBP 783.50 and will donate this amount to a charity of our choice. Latest addition to our fleetThis is the latest addition to our fleet which has been completed in our own workshops at our Oswestry depot. We have built the superstructure on a DAF FAXF 105 chassis to form the front part of an 18.5 metre roadtrain. The lower part of the curtains are reinforced to make them cut proof and the floor is fitted with EU standard securing points. The truck offers 3.05 metre high side access and the drawbar trailer, 3.2 metre side access. The combination has an overall load capacity of 120 cubic metres with a maximum payload of 24,000 kgs. As well as trailer construction, our workshop is also equipped to carry out vehicle maintenance and repairs.
